Game Report

June fourteenth.Asian Pacific Lacrosse Tournament 2005 started off with the Australian National team Under 21 versus the Hong Kong National team. The game started and during the first quarter Australia had most of the possession of the ball, and their offence lasted for a long time.On the other hand Hong Kong was tossed back and forth due to Australiafs fast pass judgment and their defense didnft function well. Not able to reorganize they allowed 9 points in the first quarter and ended it at 9-0.

During the second quarter the game didnft change, the game continued with Australia keeping the ball. When the third quarter started Hong Kong finally started to change.Since they were able to clam down, their voices started to function, and gradually they stated to have possession of the ball. The defense that crumbled pulled together and due to a nice save by the goalie Hong Kong was definitely a different team. And they started the last quarter 24-0.

The final quarter Australia let of attacking the Hong Kong goal, and earned additional points.Hong Kong wasnft able to stop Australiafs momentum and ended the game with the score of 33-0.

This game ended that clearly showed the level difference of Australia and Hong Kong.Hong Kong showed some nice plays, but still is a developing team.Hope that the team will use the mortification they tasted at this game and become a tornado in Asia.
